Diverse Learner Support at
Invictus Nashville Charter School

At Invictus Nashville Charter School, we believe that all students contribute unique gifts and talents to our community. Rooted in our Montessori philosophy, we emphasize the strengths of diverse learners and design experiences that empower students to build on those strengths in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
We use research-based, data-informed intervention programs integrated with Montessori principles to identify and support students from various special populations, including:

-
Students with disabilities.
-
English Learners (ELs).
-
Intellectually gifted students.
-
Students who are academically at risk.
Our Montessori approach prioritizes individualized learning, allowing us to meet students where they are and tailor interventions to their needs. We provide:

-
Co-teaching models for inclusive education.
-
Accommodations and modifications aligned with Montessori strategies.
-
Individualized support plans for all special populations, including IEPs and ILPs.
-
Social-emotional and behavioral interventions consistent with Montessori values of respect and community.
Special Education (SPED) Services
We comply with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to provide specially designed instruction and services. Every student with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) receives customized support determined by a collaborative team, including families.
English Learner (EL) Services
We ensure that EL students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. Services include language instruction, small-group interventions, and accommodations aligned with Montessori principles.
