Assistant Head of School - Lower Elementary

The Assistant Head of School – Lower Elementary works in close partnership with the Head of School to ensure a high-quality, developmentally responsive learning experience for students, exceptional service and partnership with families, and a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment for staff.

The primary focus of this role is instructional coaching and leadership for Lower Elementary teachers serving mixed-age classrooms (1st–3rd grade). In addition, this role will support the design, refinement, and implementation of the school-wide approach to mathematics, ensuring alignment with our instructional vision and continuous improvement across grade levels.

As a second-year, start-up school, we seek a leader who is highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to innovate—someone who is comfortable building systems while simultaneously refining them, responding to real-time needs, and helping the school grow with intention and creativity.
